Douglas fir or Oregon pine comes from North America, it is highly appreciated by carpenters & cabinetmakers for its mechanical qualities, durability and rigidity. Its tree can measure 50 to 60 meters in height and up to 2 meters in diameter. Its structure is very solid thanks to the small annual rings accumulated during its slow growth. Ideal for exterior coatings, shipbuilding frames, but also for interior joinery, quality packaging or poles for example. |
